072814's reflected thought: Do we live our lives as a string of happiness with a few bursts of sad or is it the other way around?

Hey guys!
~
Yesterday, I went to Miagao with my family.
~
I just wanted to share some pictures, so here you go!
~
I was in a selfie-taking mood yesterday so I was running around and telling people to smile for the camera, ehe.
~
Technically, these are groupies but, eh.

Those are the people I spent my Saturday with. ❤️
~
Most of my family members live in the US, so I don't have many current pictures with them.
~
On that note, here's a shoutout to all of my relatives outside of Iloilo! I miss you guys!
~
aaand lastly, here's an awkward selfie to end this post.

Reflected thought of yesterday: If I had to describe a raging calm, it'd be a rainy day full of crashing waves.

Monday, July 7, 2014

Hi guys! Here's another post since classes got suspended today!
~
No signal for a typhoon was given, but it was raining hard, the wind was getting stronger, the school was sort of flooding and parents started coming so we were told to go home.
~
Earlier, it seemed that most people didn't like the weather.
~
They were either screaming because of the thunder and lightning or complaining about the cold.
~
Personally, I love this kind of weather! I’m not very fond of the floods, of course, but I gladly welcome the cold. For some reason, I feel that we (the students) get closer when it’s raining, I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s because there’s a limit to where we can roam when it’s raining, so most covered places are packed, or it could also be because when people start going home, you don’t have much of a choice in who you hang out with, you just stay with whoever’s there.
~
I think being stranded in your classroom with your section really strengthens your relationship. Maybe that’s just me, but I really do enjoy being with my section and my batch when these things happen, so in a way, I love these rainy days.

Credit to Annie Kanaan for the picture attached. Thanks Annie!

That’s it for now, take care of yourselves guys, it’s raining pretty hard after all!

Reflected thought of the day: There are people in this world that look exactly the same, twins, doppelgangers, and others, yet there are absolutely no people in this world that are exactly alike. Physical features are only the surface of what really makes up a person. You see, you can never really know a person just by looking at them, because, in reality, on the outside, we’re all the same. Sure, we can wear different clothes, we have different eye, hair or skin colors, we have different smiles, yes, on the surface, we all seem different. But, looking deeper, going back to true simplicity, we’re all made up of molecules and atoms. These days, people get ridiculed for their physical features and the accessories on their bodies. In the end, does it matter? Before you die, will you be thinking about how unacceptable it is to be wearing clothes that aren’t in season? No, of course not. My point is, it’s what’s on the inside that counts.

Hey guys!
~
This post is dedicated to my Dad. It was his birthday yesterday!
~
(Dad, if you're reading this, remind me to ask you for my allowance tomorrow. Heh.)
~
My thought up there is related to my Dad because on the outside, he looks like a really serious person, even a scary one if he isn't smiling when you see him (although he usually is!), but when you really get to know him, he's got the greatest sense of humor ever. When he's in a good mood, you can't not smile around him. I think my Dad's one of the most upbeat people I know, and that's one of the infinite number of reasons I'm more than thankful to have him as my father. Love you, Dad! <3
~
Well, that's it for today, more posts soon!
